The All-on-4 or All-on-6: Teeth in a Day
The All-on-4 or All-on-6 is a revolutionary dental implant technique, developed through studies funded by Nobel Biocare in collaboration with Portuguese dentist Paulo Maló.
The procedure is best for patients with significant tooth loss or decay and for people whose bone loss in the jaw area prevents them from getting dental implants. There is NO need to GRAFT BONE.
An immediate temporary prosthesis is fixed the second day on the implants. Patients with a complete removable prosthesis, will start enjoying again the taste of food since this temporary prosthesis is made without an acrylic palate.
The published studies show a success rate of 98.2% for these techniques.
Full Mouth Implants with Immediate Loading
The immediate loading consists of placing the implants with immediate temporary crowns in 1 day.
In this video, we have removed all the teeth and immediately placed 6 implants with bone grafting. The second day, a temporary prosthesis is screwed on the implants. In just 24 hours, the patient’s smile and way of eating were drastically improved.
External Sinus Elevation with Bone Graft
External Sinus Elevation (also known as sinus grafting or sinus lift) is a procedure where the bone is added to the sinus in order to support dental implants.
In this video we are using an advanced cutting device, the Piezosurgery. Its cutting action provides ultimate surgical precision, while the selective cutting action maximizes safety for our patients.
Wisdom Tooth Removal & Bone Grafting
A bone graft can be taken from the patient itself, it’s called an autograft. It can also be taken from another person, an animal or it could be synthetic.
In this video, we had to graft a bone block in the front upper region, to gain enough bone for future implants. The graft was taken from the ramus part of the mandible and an impacted wisdom tooth was removed at the same time. The graft was then split in half and fixed with screws.
Gum Grafting in the Esthetic Region
A gum graft is used to treat the lack of gingiva in height or/and length.
In this video a graft, or a small layer of tissue, is removed from the palate to thicken the gum on the two front upper teeth.
An acellular dermal matrix (such as Alloderm) can be used instead of the graft from the patient’s palate.
Gum Grafting: Multiple Gingival Recession
A gingival graft (also called gum graft) is a plastic surgery used to cover an exposed root surface or what we call a “recession”.
The goals of gum grafting are:
1-Preventing further root exposure
2-Decreasing or eliminating sensitivity
3-Decreasing susceptibility to root caries
4-Improving cosmetic
These procedures are usually performed by periodontists, dental specialists in the field of gingival tissue, like Pr. Hani Khoury and Dr Jeff Khoury.
