                            Gummy Smile
A smile is considered as “gummy smile” if a significant amount of gingival tissue (gums) can be seen when a person smiles. Fortunately, periodontal plastic surgery can now reduce this  excessive gum, thereby making the smile more aesthetically pleasing.

                            Gingival Recession
Gingival recession refers to a loss of gum tissue resulting in an exposure and sensitivity in the roots of the teeth. A soft tissue graft  will  cover the recession and reduce tooth sensitivity. The gingival graft can be taken from the patient himself (autograft) or from a donated medically-processed human skin tissue (Alloderm).

                            Ridge  Augmentation
Sometimes when you lose one or more teeth, you can get an indention in your gums and jawbone where the tooth used to be.It also causes the replacement  tooth, to look too long compared to the adjacent teeth. The ridge augmentation procedure can recapture the natural contour of your gums and jaw.
                            Notice the concavity caused
                            by bone resorption
                            After ridge augmentation,
                            you can recapture the natural
                            contour of your gums

                            Regenerative Procedure
When you have periodontal disease, tissue and bone are destroyed and pockets develop. A regenerative procedure is recommended when we can reverse some of the damage by regenerating lost bone and tissue.
